Film Friday {Colorado/Utah}

 I wanted to share these photos from a little while ago from a weekend trip when we visited Colorado National Monument and Arches National Park in Utah. These were all taken with my Canon AE-1 back when I was just learning the settings and how to use it. They are not perfect and film photos never will be, that's what I love about shooting film so much and I think even when digital photographs are too "perfect" I find them boring, I like the beauty of imperfections and I feel that's what makes photography more fun in my opinion. Matt and I hiked to Delicate Arch, the hike was pretty intense but it was so worth it, it was really windy and hot but we made sure to bring the necessary things. We honestly miss being on the road, but I think we both needed a break and some time to chill. Since moving to Colorado we would go on a trip almost every weekend and after Matt's injury and him needing surgery we knew we had to take a break from it, but now that he's been feeling better we can't wait to get back out there and explore like we always do.
