There is something about oversized clothing that I love so much, being surrounded by New York's fashion for sixteen years of my life definitely influenced me on the way that I dress and I'll always be grateful to that city for that and many other things. I've learned not to care what people think and to express who I am without having to apologize for it. Most people worry about the little things, if your pants are too long, or whether you're "suppose to wear certain things" because of say your height. Granted there are limitations but at the end of the day that really doesn't matter, the point is that you feel confident in what you wear, while expressing who you truly are and having fun with it.
A petite girl like me, for example it can sometimes get tricky wearing oversized coats, some of them wear me instead, but in this case I wore this trench and felt like I was meant to be somewhere in Europe, even though I've never been. To be honest though I feel like I rocked the s**t out of this coat and the location ended up feeling like we were somewhere outside of Denver, back to a minimal city vibe. The combination of the outfit and the location we found turned out to be one of my favorite shoots we've done.
