Last year I decided to change my hair style and chopped it all off. I don't know why, but to me it felt it was a cleansing experience I needed to go through after having grown my hair for six years. For a while I had almost waist long hair and I just got to a point where I got really bored with it and decided it was time for a drastic change.

Cutting my hair was always such a great ritual and connection I had with my mother ever since I was a little girl, so it took me some time to trust someone else with my hair again, I don't know why, maybe I was too attached to it? weird but it happens, until I eventually realized it's just hair, and yes even though it can play a big part of who I am, it doesn't necessarily mean it defines me.
I guess I was just afraid it wouldn't grow back the same way but I just was ready to embrace whatever changes came with that and I knew that as long as I'd take well care of myself from the inside out and eat healthy, drink my water intake every day, exercise and take the vitamins my body needs along with using some good products, my hair would not only grow back, but it would grow better and healthier.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy trying different things with my hair every now and then, but something I've always preferred is having healthy hair and not just follow trends at the cost of damaging it. So after last year's Balayage, I quickly moved on and now I'm back into my natural hair color.

With that said, I'm really excited to be working with Grow Gorgeous again, as they've recently launched their products at Anthropologie. I'm very selective of the products I use. I've had the opportunity of representing their brand and using their products for quite some time and just with that (though I'm not one to document my hair growth progress so detailed) I have noticed a big difference every time I use their hair density shampoo, scalp masks and serums. They've become part of my hair routine as their products are loaded with Biotin and Caffeine which can enhance hair growth and helps my hair feel more full and voluminous.

My goal is always to be completely transparent with you and I've mentioned before, we all have a different texture and different hair care needs so I always do research before trying a new product,  and before giving you my opinion, I make sure that product works for me but you have to find what works for you, our bodies all have different needs, do research and try different products when you can, until you find something that works. It takes time but once you find it stick to a routine.
No product will ever show results just using once, (though maybe some really high end expensive ones might) Think of your hair as a plant, you have to give it the right nutrients and care for it to grow healthy and remember that always comes from the inside out.
If you stop watering a plant and giving it sun it eventually starts to deteriorate and it's the same thing with our bodies, our hair, skin, muscles etc. Everything we do, our lifestyle and what we eat affects all of those things, so always put your health first and the rest should fall into place.
